M.B.Roche & Sons Limited have been placed on the 4 year YORcivil Contractors Framework Agreement for the North and East areas. 23 applicants were shorlisted after the initial PQQ stage for Lot 1 of the Framework Agreement.
With 50% price weighting and 50% quality weighting Roche Civil Engineering have been appointed together with 5 other contractors onto Lot 1 for general civil engineering works upto the value of £1 million.
Complementary to the YORbuild Framework the East Riding of Yorkshire Council launched the procurement of the YORcivils Framework for the North and East areas, a £129 million construction framework predominantly aimed at public sector organisations that adjoin the Humber Estuary or are in the North Yorkshire area. The procurement will be available to deliver future public sector civil engineering construction projects and is expected to achieve efficiencies from economies of scale and through collaboration. YORcivils also contains initiatives for sustainability, job creation and training via the contractors working on its projects.
